The Income Tax Department have already published the New Amended Format of Form 16 and this Form 16 have in two parts. One is Part A which is mandatory to download from the WWW.TDSCPC.GOV.IN and the Part B is mandatory to prepare by the employer/deductor.
In Form 16, Part A have all details of Tax Deducted amount which is deposited into the Central Govt and in Form 16 Part B have the salary details of employee.
The previous format of Form 16 has already changed by the CBDT dated on 19/2/2013 and the new format of Form 16 Part A and B already published by the CBDT. You can download the New format of Form 16 Part A and B from the Income Tax Department Web Site.
